One Point of Contact for Your Whole Hardware Product

Software Led, Hardware Coordinated Through Vetted Partners

Building a hardware product usually means juggling a software vendor and a hardware vendor who don't talk to each other. We manage the software, firmware, and cloud side directly, and coordinate the physical engineering through vetted hardware partners so you deal with one team.

The Challenge

Why Splitting Hardware and Software Vendors Slows Products Down

  • Software and hardware vendors work in silos, discovering integration issues late
  • No single team accountable when a bug could be firmware, hardware, or app-side
  • Founders spend time translating between two vendors instead of building
  • Hardware partners chosen without a software team validating the technical fit
  • Timeline slips because neither vendor owns the full product roadmap

Our Approach

What We Deliver

  • Direct in-house delivery of app, cloud backend, and firmware/connectivity software
  • Coordination with vetted hardware design and manufacturing partners for the physical device
  • A single technical point of contact accountable for how software and hardware fit together
  • Technical vetting of hardware partner proposals against your product's software requirements
  • Unified product roadmap spanning both the physical device and the connected software

Use Cases

What We Build For You

01

Startup Hardware Product Coordination

Act as the technical lead for a hardware startup, managing software in-house and coordinating a manufacturing partner for the physical device.

02

Hardware Partner Vetting

Review proposals from hardware design or manufacturing firms and flag technical mismatches with your intended software architecture before you commit.

03

Enclosure & PCB Partner Handoff Management

Define the software-facing technical requirements a PCB design or enclosure partner needs to meet, then manage that handoff on your behalf.

04

Multi-Vendor Product Roadmapping

Build and maintain a single roadmap spanning your hardware manufacturing partner's timeline and our software delivery timeline.

05

Hardware-to-Software Integration Testing

Run integration testing between partner-delivered hardware prototypes and our firmware and cloud software as units become available.

06

Existing Hardware Vendor Realignment

Step in when a hardware vendor and a separate software vendor have fallen out of sync, and re-coordinate the two workstreams.

Our Process

Step-by-Step Development Process

01

Product Scope & Vendor Mapping

We define your full product scope and identify which parts we deliver directly versus what a hardware partner needs to own.

02

Hardware Partner Vetting

We review your existing hardware partner or help vet candidates against your software and connectivity requirements.

03

Software & Firmware Delivery

We build the app, cloud backend, and firmware/connectivity software directly, in step with the hardware partner's timeline.

04

Cross-Team Roadmap Management

We maintain a shared roadmap and act as the single technical point of contact between you and the hardware partner.

05

Integration & Launch

We run integration testing as physical units become available and support launch across both workstreams.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Does WORKFLOX design PCBs or manufacture hardware in-house?

No. We do not have an in-house electronics lab, PCB design team, or manufacturing capability. Physical hardware engineering — PCB design, industrial design, and manufacturing — is delivered through vetted hardware partners we coordinate on your behalf. What we do in-house is the software, firmware, and cloud backend, plus the technical coordination between your product roadmap and the hardware partner's work.

What exactly does 'coordination' mean in practice?

We review hardware partner proposals for technical compatibility with your software plans, define the software-facing specs a hardware partner needs to hit (power budget, connectivity protocol, pinout requirements), and manage the shared timeline so both workstreams land together instead of drifting apart.

Can you recommend a hardware manufacturing partner, or do we need to bring our own?

Both work. If you already have a hardware design or manufacturing partner, we integrate with them directly. If you don't, we can introduce you to vetted partners we've worked with before, though the manufacturing engagement itself is a direct contract between you and that partner, not with WORKFLOX.

Who is accountable if something goes wrong at the hardware-software boundary?

We take direct accountability for anything on the software, firmware, and cloud side. For issues that are purely physical hardware faults, accountability sits with the hardware manufacturing partner, but we act as the single technical point of contact who diagnoses which side an issue actually belongs to.

What does this partnership-coordination service cost?

Our software, firmware, and coordination scope typically runs $16,000–$43,000 depending on product complexity and how much cross-vendor coordination is required. This excludes the hardware design and manufacturing partner's own fees, which are quoted and contracted separately.

Hardware Product Coordination for Founders in USA, UAE & Saudi Arabia

WORKFLOX gives hardware product founders across the GCC, US, and UK a single technical point of contact instead of two disconnected vendors. We deliver the software, firmware, and cloud side of the product directly, and we coordinate — but do not perform — the physical hardware design and manufacturing, which is handled by vetted partners.

Why We Don't Claim In-House Hardware Manufacturing

Some agencies advertise full hardware capability without an actual electronics lab behind it. We would rather be direct: WORKFLOX is a software and firmware engineering company. For PCB design, industrial design, and manufacturing, we coordinate trusted hardware partners so you still get one accountable team managing the full product, without us overstating what we build in-house.
