Do you design or manufacture the circuit board the firmware runs on?

No. WORKFLOX writes embedded software and firmware — we do not design or fabricate PCBs or manufacture physical devices in-house. We work directly with your hardware engineering team, or a trusted hardware manufacturing partner we can introduce you to, to make sure firmware and board design align.

What microcontrollers do you write firmware for?

We most commonly work with ESP32, STM32, and Nordic nRF series microcontrollers, using FreeRTOS or Zephyr depending on the power and real-time requirements of the project. We scope the exact platform during discovery based on your connectivity and power needs.

Can you fix or take over firmware someone else started?

Yes. A significant share of our firmware engagements are takeovers of an existing codebase — usually to fix unreliable connectivity, add OTA update capability, or address a battery life issue that the original firmware didn't account for.
